Reservation Policy
All reservations for Napili Point Resort, Unit A-2 must be made through the owners, George Craig and Dick Matgen.
We strongly recommend that you make your reservation by using the "Availability Calendar" on this website.
A reservation submitted through the "Availability Calendar" process automatically sends an email directly to the owners and
will include all necessary information to reserve the condo.
Alternatively, you may send an email to the owners at rpmatgen@gmail.com.
Phone reservations are not accepted and availability dates are not given over the phone. Please note that requested
dates will only be initially confirmed after a three-day deposit is received and personal checks have cleared the bank.
Once the deposit is received, the requested dates will be blocked on the "Availability Calendar" within 24 hours.
Once you submit a reservation request via email, the owners will book your request and email you back within 72 hours.
Once they have sent you an email response, you must take two steps: 1) confirm your request by email within 48 hours;
and 2) send a deposit of 30% of the total rental fee or the cost for three nights lodging, whichever is greater
(this is a new policy as of January 28, 2011) and a signed copy of the rental agreement within seven days. This will
confirm and hold your reservation until your final payment is due. Unless these two steps are completed, the reservation
will be automatically canceled. Deposits received after the seven day period may be returned if the unit has been rebooked.
Due to booking demand, this policy is firm.
Full reservation payment is due 30 days before arrival. Failure to send payment in full will result in cancellation of
your reservation and forfeiture of your deposit. Please mark your calendar for this payment date. You will not receive
an email reminder in advance. You are responsible to meet this payment requirement.
Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require full payment by certified check, cashier's check, or money order and
must be sent by overnight mail service. Unless payment is received within two business days of booking, the unit is not
considered reserved.
Reservation extensions can only be made on a space-available basis and will only be granted if full payment is received
in advance and must be paid by cashier's check, certified check or money order.
A six-night minimum stay is required. Exceptions are made to this policy at the Owners' discretion and require an additional
$160 cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are not accepted over the phone. All cancellations must be received by the owners via email or in writing.
The email date stamp or carrier post mark determines the date of cancellation. Cancellations are subject to the following fees:
Cancellations after receipt of deposit and more than 90 days before the scheduled arrival date are subject to a $150.00
service charge. The initial deposit, less $150 will be returned.
Cancellations within 90 to 60 days of the arrival date are subject to a service charge equaling one half of the three-day
deposit or $150, whichever is greater. The remainder of the deposit will be returned.
Cancellations within 59 to 31 days of the scheduled arrival date are subject to a service charge equaling the full three-day deposit.
Cancellations within 30 days of arrival: After being notified of a cancellation, the owners will advertise the unit
as available for rental. However, the owner will retain the entire payment if the unit is not subsequently rented.
If the unit is subsequently rented for all or some of the dates of the cancelled reservation, after deducting a service charge
equal to the three-day deposit, a refund will be made equal to the rent received for whatever dates during the cancelled period
that the unit is occupied by paying guests.
Owners will retain any interest earned on booked deposits and payments.

Non-Smoking Policy
In compliance with the State of Hawaii's "Non-Smoking Law," the Napili Point resort complex is a non-smoking facility.
This means no smoking is allowed in any unit, including unit A-2, or any place that is within 20 feet of any building,
including the reception desk.
There are specific areas that a guest, employee, or any person who visits the resort may smoke if necessary. These areas
are clearly marked. They include:
1. Near the ocean point of the complex where there is a bench to sit on.
2. At the far end of the parking lot, towards the ocean where you see the umbrella.
3. At the front of the complex, near the road, to the left of the front office.
In order to be in compliance with all the requirements of this state law, it is important to inform you that the
State has specifically included a requirement that condominium complex managers notify state officials who may ticket and
issue fines and/or a court date when a person or persons does not comply with the "Non-Smoking Law." In addition,
Condominium Association rules provide for the fining of the condominium owers if renters smoke outside of designated areas.
If such a fine is administered (up to $500), the amount of the fine will be charged to the renter.

Telephone, Internet Services and Cable Policy
Napili Point Unit A-2 telephone is a private line. We now offer free limited long distance phone service to all
fifty states and Canada. All other international service calls require a calling card.
The cost of collect calls are not covered in our service and should not be accepted.
Limited service means four fifteen minutes long distance calls per day. This service is only for guests of our condo.
If you have other members in your party staying in another condo, even at Napili Point Resort, this service is not
available for their use. Please respect this request and do not utilize our condo for general family phone use. We
receive a long distance log from Hawaiian Telecom and the log remains the property of the owners. Please be advised that
if a guest should exceed the service use by Hawaiian Telecom, or accept collect calls the guest will be responsible for
these charges plus an additional service fee of $50.
DSL and WiFi service and a printer are provided free of charge. Please bring all necessary cables for use with your computer.
We do not provide a computer or cables. Owners of Unit A-2 are not responsible for interruptions in cable and Internet services.
Owners provide a small supply of paper and ink for the printer, but we do not replenish the supply during a guests stay.
If more ink or paper is needed, it is the renter's responsibility. The printer is meant for incidental usage and may not be
used for printing photographs, which quickly depletes the ink cartridges and limits the use of the printer for future guests.
Please be respectful of this policy. The printer may also be used as a copy machine.
